The Interact Club
Rules and Regulations

• A letter from parents must be provided if a member is absent from a meeting. Otherwise and absence form is required to be filled in upon return.
• It is compulsory for all members to attend each meeting
• Likewise, it is compulsory for all board of directors and main board members to attend each board meeting. If unable to, a three- day notice should be given beforehand.
• A member may face dismissal if absent for two meetings consecutively.
• An 80% attendance is required of each member each term.

• A termly fee of RM 5 must be paid by all members.
• Interviews will be conducted for those who wish to join the club
• Membership will only be open to those in years 9 and below.

• Regular club meetings will be held once a week on Wednesdays. Alternatively, a board meeting may be held.
• RM 1 will be fined if Interact badges or name tags are not worn.
• Late attendees will also be fined RM 1
• No food or drink is to be consumed or brought into meetings
• Meetings begin at 2:00 p.m. sharp
• All meetings will be conducted formally. Anyone who disrupts the meeting by making too much noise or by not behaving properly will be asked to leave the meeting after two consecutive warnings.

Uniform

For functions and outings:-

BOARD MEMBERS	White shirt, navy blue pants or skirt, club tie,Interact badge, name tag and coat(optional).
CONFIRMED MEMBERS	White shirt, navy blue pants or skirt, and Interact badge.
UNCONFIRMED MEMBERS	White shirt, navy blue pants or skirt.

• Respect your leaders to enable them to carry out their duties effectively.
• Be on your best behavior at all times, as you are the members of the Interact Club of G.I.S and represent our school and what the club stands for.
• Listen to other's opinions and be quiet when another is speaking.
